Hi, everyone… so we’re all hanging out here (chez Stack) this evening, rehearsing for our big FOCS20 reunion show, and we got to talking about Japan, especially since we toured there a few times. And that led to a whole conversation about all the causes that are important to us, and we thought why not add a few links here so that people could learn about these causes, and contribute if they so desire.
First, the obvious one – Japan – here’s a link to the Red Cross. The good thing about this link is that they serve a number of causes, and you can choose where your money goes.
Every other year for the past few years, Caleb has visited New Orleans to help rebuild homes for families affected by hurricane Katrina. It’s amazing to think that after all this time, much of the city is still in ruins: St. Bernard Project
A few years ago, the band hosted a fundraiser for a non-profit organization that works to protect and care for forgotten refugees in Africa. Please check out their website and help their mission: Mapendo
Thanks… and now back to our rehearsal… cheers… *FOCS*

Calling out to our friends in the Boston Area! Watch WCVB-TV (ABC) at 7PM on Christmas Eve for the re-broadcast of the Boston Tree Lighting Ceremony. FOCS appears at around 7:06PM to do “Little Drummer Boy” and again at around 7:44PM to do “All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth”. That’s Channel 5 on most if not all channel line-ups.
We’ll be back with more shows in 2011. Meanwhile… HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!!!
