The “FOCS Vocal Challege” is an interactive, educational program designed to get students involved in the music programs on campus, with special focus on choral programs. Developed with the assistance of a panel of well regarded educators from the high school and college ranks, this program offers a variety of highly interactive daytime events, which can be customized to the level of the student, and reinforce the lessons of the instructor. These daytime classes culminate in a joint evening concert with the choir and Five O’Clock Shadow, giving the students a performance opportunity, and an opportunity for the program to fundraise by selling tickets at the door.
